Varsity Consulting Ltd is a Cambridgeshire-based Chartered Quantity Surveying and Project Management firm. We are based in St Ives (Cambridgeshire), with satellite offices in Cambridge, Peterborough and City of London. We offer quantity surveying / construction cost management and project management services in the Commercial, Residential, Education, Leisure and Fit-Out sectors.
The majority of our projects are in the £1m to £50m range, but we can service larger projects. Our team has experience of delivering projects north of £100m.
Varsity’s focus is on successfully delivering Quantity Surveying and Project Management services in a friendly, pro-active manner. We aim to be a Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager that clients want to employ, architects and designers want to work with, and contractors want to work for. We do this by taking an approach that is friendly, fair, and commercially astute; focusing on the detail without losing sight of the end goal. We keep our overheads low in order to offer a professional quality service for a competitive fee.
We can manage your construction project from inception to completion; helping to set the budget and programme at the start, keeping the budget and design aligned, tendering the works, drawing up contracts, adminstering the contract, managing the costs of the works on site, and agreeing the final bill with the contractor. Through this process, we aim to save our clients the cost equivalent of our fee several times over.
The majority of our work is in Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Peterborough, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Suffolk, Essex, London, and Greater Manchester, but we can serve projects anywhere.
